Blake Thomas Cary, from Minnesota US, is a member of our Analytics and Metrics subteam. He is beginning his journey in the design application side of climate action. Using his bachelors and soon to be masters degree in Civil Engineering, he has begun tailoring his path to the works of green infrastructure and stormwater. He is currently volunteering for a non-profit organization in Philadelphia to create a precedent report for community urban gardening along with his thesis track surrounding the world of green stormwater infrastructure and their volume control abilities. Through his background experiences in volunteering and project management, he has had the opportunity to meet and work with people from across the globe. After learning about their unique challenges and innovative solutions, he was able to draw a connection in culture to his work, and in turn apply it to the principles of engineering design. Blake strives to work in water resources and is passionate about incorporating all factors of community into his designs so that they can be truly climate forward.
