YouthClimate Connect (YCC) offers a suite of programs designed to empower youth around the world to become informed, skilled, and proactive in addressing the climate crisis.
The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) is a dynamic initiative focused on Climate Change Advocacy and Research. It’s a 10-week program tailored to empower young individuals with essential knowledge and skills, transforming them into influential advocates and researchers dedicated to combating climate change.
The Climate Warrior Stories Book is a platform to amplify the voices of youth climate activists. Collaborating across departments, YCC invites individuals globally, to share their climate and environmental activism stories. These narratives of impact, advocacy, and awareness will be compiled in a book to inspire action and solidarity in the climate movement, accessible on YCC’s website and social media.
YCCSP is a two-session online initiative that aims to educate and empower young people to take action against climate change. The program covers topics such as the vision and impact of climate change on youth, climate justice in the Global South, and skills to tackle environmental challenges. Participants who attend both sessions will receive a certificate of recognition and join a network of climate activists and changemakers. The program is free and open to everyone.
